Most Nigerian farmers lack the financial and technical capacity of preserving farm produce after harvest, this can only be solved by setting up a processing unit close to the farmland where farm produce can be processed to finished goods for the final consumer.
The process of adding value to farm produce, increases the shelf-life of the farm produce, increases revenue to both the farmer and processor, increases food sufficiency in our country while creating jobs across our value chain.
