How i became a victim of Agricultural wealth message. Now i know better

One hot afternoon, trying to beat Lagos 3rd mainland traffic heading to Lekki, ” if you know Lagos very well, you’ll  understand how one can literally buy food item from street hawkers, prepare and eat  your dinner while in traffic’.  Back to our story, while in traffic a friend called to notify me of an agricultural  business deal worth $30millon every week.

That got my attention, i immediately asked her for the full business brief. she said and i  quote ” a client in China needs consistent supply of 30 tons cassava chips weekly, every supply is worth $30m per week.

Wow!! only that? i asked, my entire state cultivate cassava for a living now, that was my response, let’s get this order sorted. i was pumped ,motivated, and 100% convinced that finally , the long awaited prosperity angel has visited me. I relocated from Lekki:my comfort zone, where power, entertainment, Saturday owambe, social gathering and hustle never ends, to a remote village in Akwaibom: no electricity, fresh food, no social events compared to Lagos ,my friends were far away, i became the new kid in the block. i was focused on achieving that $30m cassava chips deal, so if relocating to where this treasure is found will be the only sacrifice i have to make, then so be it.

Hmmmm, that was how agriculture found me, this journey of making $30m per week started in 2017, my brothers and sisters, wetin my eyes see for this journey eh, even had a bad experience where a cutlass cracked my tooth on the farm, that day i earned a badge as a certified farmer, ”i wish that friend of mine that called to preach this message of agricultural wealth that hot afternoon  was close by, i for change am for am” but ….. to be continued
